You are invited to His Majesty’s grand Combo Party in Castle Combo, a clever tableau-building card game where every character you recruit can shape your strategy.

Players draft characters from the Village or Castle, place them into their personal tableau, then trigger their unique abilities. The challenge is to build a strong 3x3 grid while combining card effects and end-game scoring conditions as efficiently as possible.

Build Your 3x3 Tableau

On your turn, you buy a card from either the Village or Castle, depending on the position of the Messenger pawn.

Each new card must be placed orthogonally next to at least one card already in your tableau, and by the end of the game your tableau must form a complete 3x3 grid of 9 cards.

Once a card is placed, its ability is triggered, opening up opportunities for powerful combinations and tactical plays.

Recruit the Right Characters

Every character brings different abilities and scoring conditions, so choosing the right mix is key. Some cards may help immediately, while others reward careful positioning or specific combinations at the end of the game.

Once every player has completed their 9-card tableau, final scoring begins. The player with the most points wins.
