Battlefield 3 - Premium Edition - PS3

Battlefield 3: Premium Edition (PS3)

This isn’t a war you watch from a distance. You’re right in the middle of it.

Developed by DICE and powered by the Frostbite 2 engine, Battlefield 3 puts you on the front line of a battlefield that refuses to stay intact. Walls break apart. Explosions tear through cover. Dust and debris fill the space between you and your next objective. The environment isn’t just scenery. It’s part of the fight. EA

The single-player campaign takes you through a globe-spanning military thriller, moving between multiple perspectives as a dangerous international crisis unfolds. From the streets of Tehran to Paris and New York, tense firefights give way to explosive set pieces, with the stakes climbing as the story comes together. Wikipedia

Heavy weaponry, vehicle sequences and immersive battlefield audio give the action a sense of weight. One moment, you’re pushing through a close-range engagement. The next, you’re caught in a much larger military operation. It’s a cinematic shooter built to put you inside the chaos, rather than above it. EA Help

The Premium Edition originally brought together Battlefield 3, a Premium membership covering all five multiplayer expansions—Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath and End Game—and a Multiplayer Head-Start Kit. These extras expanded the game’s original online experience with additional maps, weapons, vehicles and unlocks; they were not extra single-player campaign chapters. EA News

For players revisiting Battlefield’s PS3 era, the campaign remains a chance to experience its combination of military spectacle, destructive environments and relentless front-line action.

When the cover disappears, keep moving.

Important edition information: EA closed Battlefield 3’s official PlayStation 3 online services on 7 November 2024. The single-player campaign remains playable, but official online multiplayer and online co-op are no longer available. The Premium multiplayer expansions therefore cannot be played through the retired official services. For pre-owned copies, do not assume that valid Premium membership or bonus download codes are included.
